For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The rooms were a good size, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The en-suite bathrooms had everything we needed and water was good temp and pressure. The heated infinity pool was excellent and had amazing views. The shared balcony/veranda was lovely to chill on and eat breakfast at. The shared kitchen has brilliantly equipped. Alan and Sofia were charismatic, friendly and so helpful with everything, easy to talk to, willing to help and were lovely, warm hosts.
This was the best place we have ever stayed. We loved the view so much, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The view is something you won't get over. Awesome pool, washing facilites to use (1 euro for detergent pod) and free bread for all of the pods. We highly recommend this spot & loved watching the sunset every afternoon.
Amazing terrace! We weren't able unfortunately to see the sunset as at this time of the year (end of June / beg of July), but tje view is still amazing

The house had everything we needed, sitting on a hill with amazing view for enjoyable breakfast or dinner. Our landlord welcomed us with a great pick of various home-grown food and wine. The landlord was super nice, helped us with everything we missed and recommend trips around.

Location, bbq, open living space, kitchen equipment (sharp knives!!), in general the view, but the fence right in the sight of sunset is not so nice. The Levada next to the house!
We chose this place to explore the west part of the island and it was a perfect starting point for all the places we wanted to visit. Multiple famous Levadas are only 20 min away by car. Parking was available right in front of the apartment. The place was nice and tidy, everything is practically new. A big plus was the balcony with a lovely view where we enjoyed our dinners during sunset. Special thanks goes to the lovely Luis (owner), who is a really great guy!
The house was spacious, clean well decorated with a wonderful view. The furniture was in good condition. Garry was responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we received a lovely welcome basket that included wine, Madeira bread, cookies, crackers cheese and ham. Calheta was a sweet town. We ate delicious tuna at Lemme. Our server said it was freshly caught that day. We also ate at the pizzeria/gelato place. The thin crust pie was nicely made.

Amazing terraces with ocean view. Perfect spot to watch sunset. Equipped with yoga mats and hammocks. Quiet with not many people around. Loved it.
