For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The staff were welcoming, the room clean and spacious and the pool are was attractive and well looked after. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We didn’t use the restaurant, preferring to have snacks in the Sunset Bar which were very good.
We had a beautiful room in what was a large manor house of a noble family at some point in the past before being owned by the church. There is a lot of stone and wood to the interior of the house which gives it so much character. Guest are free to use to garden to the back of the house and an inclosed veranda on the first floor. There is also a large kitchen with everything you might require and more! A mini-bar honesty system is also available. Restaurants are not far away and the Castelo is a short walk.
