Highly recommended. It was awesome! The peace you feel in there, the bed is very comfortable, you have everything you need to cook in there.
3 min drive there is an amazing restaurant and Nazare is only 10 min Drive in a quiet road
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Lovely hotel situated with views over the countryside down to Nazare. The public areas,restaurant and bar are relaxing with large windows that make the most of the views and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. We didn’t use the spa facilities so cannot comment but each room had a nice sheltered patio to watch the sunset.
We enjoyed a relaxing time in Casal das Fontainhas, a quiet and green place with a pool, trampoline and more toys for the kids than you can count. The kids made friends with a rabbit, donkey and some goats. And the parents spent most of their time in the hammock.

Staying perched above the beautiful town of Alcobaca was a privilege. Seeing the monastery in all its moods… vibrant blue sky, morning mist, sunset… was wonderful.
We (2 parents, 2 toddlers) stayed at a tent wiht a king size bed + bunkbed. We loved it!
Good comfort on the tents (heater, aircon, minifridge and microwave oven), generous breakfast, super attentive staff.
Seccluded place right next to smaal town and a lot of services around.
Amazing experience. Cozy tents. Breakfast. Location, even with nice restaurants nearby. Hope to come back.
