We loved our time at the Oman desert camp. Our only complaint is that it was too short, but that was our own doing. Hosts were very kind and welcoming. We opted to stay in the tents for a more authentic experience; they were very comfortable. The meals were plentiful, especially dinner. Would recommend the nighttime stargazing camel ride and the 3-hour quad experience. The camp owner led us on an exhilarating adventure. It was the highlight of our 2 week trip across the Middle East.

The warmest welcome by Mr. Badr and his entire family. We had a wonderful time. We chose to spend one night here and one in a different kind of accommodation in Wahiba Sands and it was perfect that way, exploring different aspects and views of the desert. The drive is a bit adventurous, however we felt safe as we had a guide to reach the camp from Bidiyah who helped us when we got stuck with our car.
The camp is truly on top of the dunes. If may not be the best one if you want to do lots of sand boarding as the individual dunes are not that high but the view is amazing. The food we had was one of the best in all our Oman trip!

We stayed at a standard (aka "premium") tent which was spacious, had a massive bed, with additional two beds provided for the kids. The toilet/shower were clean, however please mind that this is a desert camp/tent - so expectations should according (low pressure, water warm, not hot).
Food served at the camp was perfect (breakfast and dinner) - exceeded expectations.
The camp offers a lot of activities - to name a few: dune bashing; camel rides; quad rides; playground for kids; swimming pool; not to mention that arriving to the camp is a bit of an experience in itself.

The place of the camp in the dunes is amazing. 360 degrees view over the desert. Nice place for sunset and so quit, that you can just hear the wind and the sand. Lovely tents, with really big bed and much space in the room. Very traditional place to stay, with so much love of details. The food was always frech and cooked on an open fire. The stuff are nice and always helpful. A nice memorier to never forget!
The camp is located in the desert and all is so beautiful - the tents are fitting in the nature in colors. The tents are very comfortable - but you are in a tent. The food is good, staff nice. The nigths are quiet, sunset and sunrise a unique experience and the dark nigths with lots stars. We will never forget this place and it will stay in our hearts
We had 2 tents for our party of 6. The tents were lovely with clean and comfortable beds and private bathrooms😁 Both breakfast and dinner was great. We did sunset camel trip which was well worth doing, and quad biking in the morning which the kids loved! Highly recommend this camp. Only 20 min into the desert, but it's in a great spot.
Loved everything about our stay in this desert camp. The drive there, the camp itself, the location, the buffet - it was a whole experience we will not forget.
I was first not sure about the comfort of the “basic” sheikh tent but it was absolutely amazing!! We did not book any activity but instead went on a small walk along the dunes during sunset and it was just magical.
According to the staff the pool of the private pool tents is heated, just in case this information helps anyone to decide.
Desert is magic, and this tented camp is amazing. It is the last one of the "line of tended camps" so no one drive as crazy in front of you. Tents are for four persons whit enought space for backpacks or suitcases. Bathroom is outside but with all facilities (be careful when you open water sink...at the begining it is boling). Camp offer a lot of things: camel drive, dune bashing, etc. Even a transport if you doesn't rent a 4WD.

An amazing experience in this camp owned by Sayid and his family.
We had a wonderful welcome, kids enjoyed different activities as camel ride and sledding on the dunes. The camp is located high on the dunes, view and sunset are amazing.
The tents have really comfortable beds.
I would recommend this camp if you are looking for an authentic Omani desert experience.
It was really hard to say goodbye.
Super cozy and cool place in the middle of the desert. The food was amazing and the tents were very spacious, nice and comfortable. I was happily surprised with the bathroom which was a proper bathroom, like with toilet and shower and all, it was great. The sunset tour is a must!
