Simple like it should be in the desert. Nice tent in the middle of dunes ( other accommodations are located in the valleys so it is a long way up to the top of the dunes). Here you can simply go to the top of the dunes. The camp is located at a very high dune so the view is spectacular. Only 5 tents.
Nice activities like dune bashing, sand boarding, desert tour, quads etc.
You can spot the sunrise and the sunset from this camp.
The food was delicious and the staff is very friendly.

Rashid Desert Camp was the highlight of our trip to Oman. We stayed 2 nights there, and from start to finish the experience was amazing, we are glad we booked 2 nights.
There is a very convenient meeting point before entering the desert where they will deflate the tires of your 4wd and then guide you to your camp with your own car, or the camp can pick you up there.
The size of the camp is perfect, just 5 tents, very well located in the middle of dunes with beautiful sunset and sunrise views.
Rashid, the owner, is the most amazing host that will make you feel welcomed. His staff is also excellent, always looking out for the guests, and the food is amazing, the best we had in Oman, both dinner and breakfast !! A special shootout to Selim the cook.
They propose different activities, we did the desert morning tour riding the dunes and sandboarding which was very nice.

Accommodation on the edge of the desert, right under a high dune. We were there all alone overnight. Said was an excellent host, he picked us up at the agreed place, so you don't need a 4x4. Walks around the area and the sunset was breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were perfect and I recommend to buy.

The One is one of those places that you leave, but it never leaves you. This newly opened, single-tent camp has been done up with so much love and attention to detail. The tent itself is spacious and beautifully designed, and the huge outdoor bathroom was a welcome surprise. The secluded location among the dunes is exactly what we had hoped for, allowing us to enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets with no one around.
Then there is the owner, Hamad - a highly cultured, well-traveled, spiritual, and engaging individual with whom we had the most enriching conversations.
Another highlight was the food, which was freshly prepared by Hamad’s daughter, absolutely delicious and a great variety.
We wish we could have stayed longer and certainly hope to return. Until then, we carry with us beautiful memories of our time there.

We were wowed by the decor and every camp had attention to detail with decor and small amenities like bins , cosy side tables and cushions with cool rugs. Its setting was private , only 4 tents in the camp which made it exclusive. The private bathrooms were v cool. Showering with no roof , sun hitting your face was luxury. Haroon and abdullah made our stay so special. They worked non stop and made us feel very comfortable and at ease throughout. Ibrahim and Mohamed brought fun and laughter on our transfers and trips. A must visit to wadi Khaled , camel rides and dune bashing . We had our special private dinner which was a real memory. It is all solar powered electricity which is great for the environment. The food provided in the camp was delicious.

Amazing Omani welcome from Saud and his family. A stunning location with spotlessly clean and comfortable tents, with crisp linen and beautiful interior decoration. Delicious and plentiful buffet dinner taken in a traditional Omani tent setting, then sitting beside an open fire under the stars. This is a must visit location for anyone wanting to experience the beauty and tranquillity of the desert. And very fair value for money considering the amenities and warm hospitality. Don't miss the sunset!
Nice small scale camp in the desert, only 6 tents. Very nice staff providing good service and friendly host. It is very magical to walk up the dunes and look at the sunset or sunrise. We enjoyed it very much, thank you!
It might be good to know that pick up can be arranged for an extra charge from a meetingpoint (we were glad we did this as there are no signs to the camp). Also the dinner is not included in the price, however the food was very nice, so recommended!
Had a great stay here! Lovely hosts and very peaceful in the desert. The tents are cosy! In the evening we ran up the dune behind the camp for a gorgeous sunset. Did the same again for sunrise. Can 100% recommend staying here.
Exceptional stay with even greater hosts. The camp is quiet, clean and serene. Located at the top of the dunes making sunsets and sunrises particularly accesible. The tents were made for a good nights sleep the authentic food was a treat. Fayez and the team made us feel at home. We will be back! Definitely the camp of choice if looking for a calm desert stay.

I can really recommend this desert camp!! Very nice location, next to the dunes to watch the sunset and sunrise. As it was only a few tents, it was very personal and did not feel touristy:) in the camp, we met other great people, it attracted some solo travelers and likeminded people I guess. Everyone was very happy with our choice for the camp: basic but not too commercialized and beautiful location. Value for money was great!
Very accommodating and helpful staff. The camp is quite close from the city, which makes it easily accessible with 4WD car, while still being far enough to feel the desert vibe. The tents are comfortable and clean. Food was great (we had diner and breakfast). I also recommend going for dune bashing with sunset. All in all, good value for money 🙂

The placement is in the middle of the desert, the camp is quiet and clean, the activities (tour of the desert + sunset) are enjoyable. The food is very very tasty (we had vegetarian) and you can always have water, coffee, tea and dates.
The stars and the sunrise were also a unique moment.
This experience was the best you could ask for.
And the little tents where you sleep at night make for a little adventure (be dressed well).
