For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The room is fabulous. We loved the fire and the bed was huge and so comfortable. We loved the spa bath and having a spa pool on our veranda was amazing.
The massages were out of this world.
The food in the restaurant was great and the staff are so warm and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The cozy cottage with the fire going and horses was the perfect way to spend my daughters 6th birthday in winter! We loved the views and star gazing from the veranda. Lee was lovely and my daughter was so happy to meet the horses. Would love to ride them next time! The amenities were great everything was well thought out and it made our stay very enjoyable. We will definitely be back again ☺️
One room with very large bed and single bed for three people. Very comfy bed. Small but adequate kitchen, which we only needed for breakfast. Balcony with sun was lovely. Two heaters in the room. Bathroom perfectly okay, hot shower. Walked to hot pools and restaurant. We chose largely due to location/price. Only needed 1 night.
Quiet. Owner very nice.
It is a spacious property with everything you could need. The hosts were so accommodating and made us and our kids feel welcome. The hammock is a bonus!
The staff were friendly and helpful during breakfast.
The bed was really comfy and loved the double shower in the bathroom as well as the spa bath and the spa outside on the terrace being on as we arrived.
Loved the coffee choice and the hot chocolate sachets were amazing! Great choices.
Loved the fireplace too kept us cosy and warm.
Loved the morning sunrise and sunset views from our suite.
Beautiful view from balcony and because the house was set back a bit from next door properties you couldn't see them from the balcony giving a feeling of being in the wilderness.
The location is rather out of the way on a narrow gravel road up a hill but the bonus landscape views were a plus, in addition to the cute alpacas/llamas in a paddock on the way, and the wild blackberries ready for picking near the carparking area. The room was a good size and the terrace had fabulous mountain and sunset views. There is a quirky library area with lots of books for all interests and ages, including quite a few vintage books from the early 1900's, so this was fun.
