For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Truly everything, it offered affordable luxury. Quality spacious clean rooms, the food was excellent - the deserts were next level, knowledgeable safari guides, helpful stuff. It made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay
The location was excellent with lovely views of the valley. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We left for Etosha one morning before sunrise and they gave us a packed breakfast. Probably one of the best options for access to Etosha if staying outside the park (but it was still not near the entrance). The tents were spacious and had both internal and external showers. The outside showers were a unique experience that we will not forget.
Lovely quiet camp with beautiful sunset views. Extremely friendly and helpful host and staff. Macy a particular super star. Helped with booking safaris and transfer to Swakopmund.
Perfect old school African safari camp with a big range of accommodation options, thatched communal areas and no less than 3 swimming pools
, set in the mopane forest just outside the main gate to Etosha national park
The accommodation and lodge are amazing. The tents are extremely well equipped and the location perfect for safaris inside Etosha. However it is the staff are what made this accommodation, McBrain and Lydia in particular provided amazing service to myself and my friend. They were extremely welcoming, great to talk to and really made our stay. The chef also went out of their way to provide myself with vegetarian food which was delicious every night. They really made us feel at home and would highly recommend staying here!
Everything about Etosha Safari Lodge is perfect. Great chalets, clean and well maintained. Lots of space between the mosquito net and the bed. Lovely friendly staff. Delicious food.
Really nice place with "at home" feel. Enjoyed the dinners with the freshly grilled steaks (really really good steaks!), Nice and clean rooms, tastefully build little resort. The landscaping is like oasis in the middle of the desert. Our family truly enjoyed out short stay there. Very close to Etosha and their own safari is also really good!
Mondjila Safari Camp was the best decision we could have made.
The people were so friendly and kind and helpful, we felt the second day as a family.
The dinner was every night amazing.
We had there the best Kudu steak in 2 weeks of Namibia traveling.
If we are coming back to Namibia we would definitely come back to this lodge!
Etosha is a 30min drive by car.
