For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The 1-1 attention given by staff and their willingness to provide meals we wanted. The bed rooms and bathrooms have a grand feel to them. The beach at the back of the garden. The small swimming pool that was suitable for kids. The hammock and the beach beds in the garden.
The bed was comfy and it came with a mosquito net which was definitely needed. Chathura did my laundry for no extra charge and gave me some coconuts and bananas he got from his garden.
It's a good boutique hotel. The main highlights are the location and the suite room. I'm not sure about the other rooms, but the suite room is spacious, quite comfortable, and has a beautiful view of the sea. It features a big bathroom with a large bathtub, which is an added advantage. It also has a small infinity pool. As we went in the off-season, the nearby areas were almost deserted and quiet.
This was our first hotel on our first trip to Sri Lanka, and it left a very warm impression. We found this place very atmospheric and cozy, with delicious breakfasts and everything we need, close to the beach, but at the same time surrounded by the jungle. On the third floor there is a large veranda and lines for drying clothes, on the first floor there is a shower to rinse off after the sea. The room had a safe, refrigerator, hairdryer and kettle. When it rained, the hosts thoughtfully provided us with umbrellas.
Beautiful location right on the beach! We booked the sea view room and it does not disappoint. Staff were friendly and helped organise a great local cooking class which we highly enjoyed.
Sun beds available to guests of the hotel, perfect spot to relax all day by the water with fresh showers close by which we highly valued (especially on the day of checkout when we left late).
Bodhi and his family are amazing hosts! The garden is beautiful and overall such a pretty guesthouse. Relaxing in hammock and watching the beautiful garden is so much fun. Bodhi also takes you snorkeling and he really knows his way around! Believe him if he tells you that it’s suitable for all ages. Highly recommended! Thanks for the stay! :)
Really lovely new hotel in Hikkaduwa. The rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. The hotel itself is in a great location and is just on the beach, so great for relaxing during the day or for watching sunset. We had food and cocktails at the hotel, which were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was really spacious with a nice outside garden. Clothes line available to dry clothing/towels in the sun. Mosquito net above bed. Decent location just a short walk to the beach and shops.
I loved every moment in this hotel. It’s a very peaceful location. The view is amazing even at sunset. The owner and the staff are super kind and accommodating. The breakfast was a wide spread. I can’t recommend enough. Sri lankan people are soo genuine!!!!! The room was clean and spacious. Sun beds are available right on the beach.
