The property is outside the National Park. It’s conveniently located but I had booked two tents for 4 people. During check out, I was told that the price is only for two adults and they charged me 100$ for two people which burnt a hole in my pocket during the trip. I showed them my reservation from Booking.com which said 4 guest but they didn’t allow me to check out without paying the amount. The property only has wifi at the reception so I couldn’t not even contact Booking.com. The tents were very basic so paying 100$ extra for two people was really stressful. During check out I had asked the staff to check the details but they didn’t tell me anything during check in. The property allowed four people to check in when they had reservations only for 2 people, wow!!!!!! I will neither book this property again nor recommend it to anyone else.

The room and facilities were top class and the set up very impressive, including growing their own fruit and veg (we toured the garden). The Entumoto team were excellent and very warm and welcoming and provided great service, including the food which was delicious. We also enjoyed having Alex as our guide for the days that we stayed who shared his knowledge and kept us laughing as we saw all of the big 5!

Wonderful location and setting, lovely tents and comfortable communal areas.
Staff were excellent and especially our safari guide (Maleo, apologies if I am spelling the name incorrectly, he also has a nickname ‘The Don’) was not only an expert knowledgeable guide, but also fantastic company and we loved our 2 full days of driving with him.

Excellent location with animals around the camp. Very clean and comfortable tents, really good food and very friendly and service minded staff. Can highly recommend
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Really nice and helpful staff. John and Jacob made our safari unforgettable. They were very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. In addition Isaac cooked us wonderful meals. Per our request vegan and it was very tasteful and healthy! kanunka told us everything we liked to know about the Maasai people. Finally John arranged a pass through the park to bring us to our next destination with his landcruiser.
The hosts were amazing, showing us Maasai culture. The tent was very comfortable and clean, with mosquito nets over beds, warm shower, toilets etc. we also organised guide, visit to Maasai village and dinner through Lucas and his team. Incredible value and rustic way to experience the Maasai Mara.
Friendly and helpful people working there. Tasty food, nice atmosphere around the fireplace. Sunset view from the tent was incredible. We had a great game view with THE BEST MASAI GUIDE ISAC and THE BEST DRIVER FRED!
BEST TEAM in the whole Masai Mara National Reserve.
Very warm and kind people manning the Camp, from housekeepers to Reception. Excellent spread and sumptuous Breakfast. Superb people running the show in Dining Area, even interns were full of Enthusiasm. Well maintained Swimming pool and overall a superb camouflaged accommodation in midst of vast wilderness. Amazing sitout at Bar, splendid evening show, awesome Mini Club to wind down in evening from Club Tent, Their team hasn't left any stone unturned to make it more memorable than Safari as well.
Great tents with showers, electricity and verandas, attentive staff, great value for money, location very close to the park, camp fire and local traditions, and, most importantly, amazing salaries! It is a mid-range camp that provides you a wonderful opportunity to have great game drives with wonderful guides, sleep comfortably and spend reasonable money. Safari tourism can be extremely expensive but thanks to Drunken Elephant we were able to see the best of Maasai Mara, be comfortable and not spend a fortune.
Amazing place. The luxury tents are actually really good, clean and super comfortable + we get a view of the sunrise. Love the nature all around including within the lodge grounds. Would definitely return.
Amazing staff - they treat you so well - the best was how they left hot water bottles in the bed in the evening.
Very close to the park and you can hear the animals at night but for the price it’s unbeatable.
Comfortable tent with a hot shower was amazing!
They arranged everything for me and really looked after me. Special shout out to Daniel who was so organised and remembered every little detail. And Peter the guide was so knowledgable and we saw so much wildlife!
We absolutely loved Tayari Luxury Tented Camp. As they said when we arrived it felt like a home away from home. We directly had a really nice connection with the team and were always taken care of in the nicest way.
The tents are really nicely designed and nicely arranged so that you feel like you are alone between the trees.
I highly recommend!
