Staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Food was basic but good. Loved the bonfire at night, comfy beds, felt very safe and well cared for. We were a group of 11 people, ranging in age from 13 to 60 and we all enjoyed a night of "true safari style" lodging. We'd totally book again.

Small remote camp with stellar views of Kilimanjaro! The staff were all super friendly and were able to help us plan a last minute game drive and nature walk with an excellent guide. Overall very good value for money. The solar panel electricity and water heater also worked surprisingly well and we didn’t have any issues with amenities.

After 2 weeks in Africa, this was our one and only experience where we truly felt in the African Savanah!! The location is stunning, with the views of Kilimanjaro and the Savannah spreading in front of you!! It is also a small camp, meaning it does feel like a true safari experience and not a hotel vibe as it all other lodges we stayed at!!
And the best, all that with the comfort of a cozy bed and warm showers!!! And for a very reasonable price point!!
We highly recommend the Little Amanya Camp!!

The location in the middle of the plains and looking up at Kilimanjaro was breathtakingly superb. The campground had been lovingly decorated with flowers, shrubs, and archways. Each night a bonfire was lit, making it a nice place to meet other guests.
The restaurant staff was very kind, and the food was overall very good, as was the lunch boxes they kindly prepared for you when out on safari. There were mosquito nets on the bed and a little sitting area on the porch of the tent pod.
Overall I would recommend this place for those who like adventure and a glamping camping experience.

For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Amanya. The staff were so helpful and the location was beautiful. This has a stripped back wilderness feel, allowing you to relax and enjoy lovely surrounding views of Kilimanjaro. It was very peaceful and close to the Amboseli National Park. The food was also very tasty and good portion sizes! The bed was also really comfortable and we slept very well. It was also a beautiful place to watch the sunsets.
The Location, The Food, The “tents”.. I think for europe and us people really nice place to stay. If you want go for safari for whole day and you want have the best experience from Amboseli NP
A great place to feel life in nature. The personal is very kind and helpful. For the meals you can go to the central camp (1 km) or the personal bring your meals to the location. You can choose of many different programs, like balloon safari or game drive in Amboseli ans see hippos.
Lovely views of Kilamanjaro and excellent sunsets. Staff was personable and attentive. Margaret was an angel ready to help arrange game drives and park fees. The tents are very big and include more furniture than a hotel room including a drinking water dispenser!
Within the conservation area, so saw wildlife as travelled into the park. Lovely well equipped cottage. Esther and Jane were very helpful, arranged a few supllies we had forgotten. Lovely verandah, so could eat outside or sit and enjoy view of Mt Kilimanjaro in the breeze.
Stunning location with a clear view of Kilimanjaro. You are off the beaten track so this is a peaceful place too. The tents were fine and the kitchen was small but served the purpose. Wash facilities were basic but clean.
We had excellent service from Brian who built a fireplace evening and organised a safari for us, as well as a Masai village visit. Great place.
message to the owner your staff are what make Kilima Safari Camp incredible, John, James, Pauline, Dennis and Richard. these smiles and making me welcome was highlight of my stay , including the incredible view of Kilimanjaro.
I can’t express how impressed I was with these ones, please have initiative to have worker of the month displayed at reception.
A really lovely place where all the buildings are tents. So you get an authentic safari-feeling. The staff who are a great many are extremely attentive and discret. The bar with its nice tenders ( especially Tobiko ) is a wonderful place for a sundowner. Also the pool area is quite beatiful. But best of all: the incredible view of Kilimandjaro! You can ´t get enaugh!
I paid the all accommodations cost including
full board meals which is USD 614 and safari fee
that is 24000 Ksh at the time of check out altogether by my credit
card directly to Kilima Safari Camp.
I have stayed at a couple of places in Amboseli and honestly feel that Kilima Safari Camp offers the best value for money. The tents are very clean, roomy and well positioned to have a great view of Kili. The food was excellent and the hospitality and service offered by the staff is note worthy. The location is very near to the Kimana park gate (literally 200 mtrs) so no time lost driving from the camp to the gate. I highly recommend this place for visitors.
