For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Located near the Happo Mountain in the Japanese Alps, a lot of nature and very good air. Jacuzzi on the veranda of the room is wonderful. The hotel has a very old vibe, like entering a different era. Habuka is in the summer completly empty, if you enjoy a very quiet place this is the right place. The personal and the general manager are very friendly and will go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable.
Hakuba Umitoyama provides a well-located, budget-friendly stay with adequate-sized bedrooms, hot showers, and cozy decor, alongside convenient ski storage, car parking spot, a limited continental breakfast. Ths staff are English-speaking and helpful, offering luggage storage and assistance with reservations.
Despite the advertisement as a hotel, this
Very comfortable, homely stay. Amazing staff that do the best coffee we've had in Japan. (Subject to change as they cycle through staff semi-regularly) Clean, high pressure, hot showers.
We had a fabulous stay at Misorano Chalet for our family ski holiday. We loved the quiet and beautiful location amongst the trees, walking distance to 7-11, close proximity to Hakuba 47/Goyru ski field. The chalet was warm & cosy, and we loved the old school charm with its wood interior. We also loved the hot shower! Thank you Craig for a wonderful stay.
Excellent hot showers and heating. Great breakfast, they can accommodate gluten intolerant people. The dry room is great and there’s also a small onsen (available during certain times). Friendly staff. It’s just a few minutes walk from Hakuba Goryu. Room was spacious enough. Beds had warm blankets and excellent room heating, we never felt cold in the room. The place is cleaner and better maintained than it looks in the photos. There are 2 washing machines and dryers.
We loved our stay here. The hosts are so kind and make you feel very at home. The whole place is lovely and warm, everything is spotlessly clean. The filtered bath each afternoon was lovely. Nice hot showers. We never had to wait for the bathroom either. The view from the room was lovely too - felt like we were alone in the snowy forest! An easy walk to echoland Main Street, close to shuttles. 1500 yen taxi from happo bus station. Drying room at the accom was handy too.
Friendly staff.
Nice hot showers.
Shared shower and toilet but never needed to wait to use.
In addition to the included breakfast, guests were welcomed to cook their own food using the stoves. I could prepare hot breakfast for my kids.
Staff were very helpful. Yard and facility were very comfortable. Yard games available during the summer season included slack line, hammock, and frisbee. The onsen was nice and clean.
