The Glampsite was everything we wanted over the weekend. Rita and Peter have found that delicate balance between natural living and comfort. The site has the most amazingly swimming pools - a natural spring pool and a bio pool. The former especially made our holiday memorable as it kept the kids entertained and all of us cool. Nearby Santa Fiora was also a pleasant surprise and I am not easily surprised in Italy having lived there for 25 years.
Set 41 km from Mount Amiata, TERRA - Saturnia tented lodges offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as an open-air bath and a garden. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking.

We stayed one night here while travelling round Tuscany and it was a highlight of our holiday. Martino and Angela were excellent hosts, and the tents are beautiful.

It is an amazing place with all what you need. Jeanette is a fantastic host and offers a great breakfast. It is very private and in the evening you can truly count a million stars from the hottub. With all the recommendations from Jeanette we explored the area and really enjoyed staying in this part of Tuscany.
Set 28 km from Cascate del Mulino Thermal Springs, Tenuta San Lodovico offers an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi.

The connection with nature
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
It's a very clean place, tap water is potable, hot shower is really hot. Clean sheets, a big adjustable (sic!) bed, nice decor in the room. Fast enough internet connection. Charming ambience. Comfortable parking at one minute walking distance.
