Marisa the host was just fantastic! She helped us renting a car, and was so keen on showing us the way to the sunset in Barbaresco that she herself drove almost all the way up there! The food was amazing in the restaurant, the breakfast was good with excellent service
Fantastic host and a really warm welcome. The breakfasts are delicious with different homemade specialities everyday. The place is so relaxed, great views, sunsets and the chance to walk through the hazelnut forests nearby. We’ve stayed here several times and love the atmosphere. Host is v knowledgeable and generous with advice about things to do in Alba and the Langhe. Highly recommended.
It is remote but with Ways and coordinates is OK to arrive. The place and the surronding are wonderfull. The owner , his sister and the staff are amazing welcoming and friendly. It is clean and neet. Breakfest and the veranda where it is seved is wanderfull. The area is quite full with vineyards and beutifull. Is a pitty that they do not serve diner.
Overall, a very good hotel in the center of Alba. It's very basic, but it's clean and comfortable, and the windows have mosquito nets, which is ver important in this area. The staff was very nice and helpful. It used to be some kind of monastery, and now the first floor is actually a school!
all. we loved the place!! amazing garden with sunset view, delicious breakfast , comfortable bed , location and great owners .perfect place for relax and being with nature.
Clean and cosy, with great heating and hot showers. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. Location is a short walk from most things, there is a good pizzeria 2min walk away. Host was flexible to allow us an earlier checkin as there was no occupant before us.
The hotel fully desertves its 4 star rating from the size of the rooms and the quality of the furniture, beddings and the comfort of the bathroom. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and multilingual. Breakfast was varied and of excellent quality. The location is quiet but close to the old town.
Amazing staff, lovely pool and sun beds, great breakfast and brilliant selection of wine, as well as a range of light meals and snacks. Bike hire for those that need them!
