My stay at Valhalla Yurts Odin was cozy and delightful. The yurt was beautifully set up with a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect place to relax. Despite the bathroom being located outside and shared with other guests, it was just a short 20-30 foot walk and well-maintained. The owner was transparent about the setup after booking, and I had no issues. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for anyone looking for a unique and comfortable experience in Iceland.

Unique stay experience, while it was cloudy when we were there it seemed ideal for northern lights viewing. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, this had everything we needed from coffee and tea to little snacks. Bathroom was very clean. The place seemed very intentionally designed and would recommend. Clear instructions for navigation even in the dark.

Great experience, my whole family loved it. The globe has everything you need, plus some.
We were lucky enough to see the northern lights while we were there as well!
For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
All. Rooms were basic but comfortable. Location in the middle of nowhere, but 15 min driving from Selfoss. Amazing breakfast. Common areas ( lobby and hot pot at sunset time was fantastic). I would go back again for sure!
The location and surroundings of the cabins are simply stunning, especially with the snowy sunrises and sunsets that we had. We had high expectations which were exceeded. The accommodation was spotless when we arrived and we loved that the dogs were so friendly and owners very welcoming. We couldn't rate it highly enough. Thank you for an amazing stay
Great location close to the Kerið crater. Everything clean, new and modern. After a whole day of traveling, we could use the hot tube with a beautiful view of the sunset :)
Good location for the "Golden Circle" natural monuments. Bungalow comfortably warm even when freezing outside (geothermal heating + hot shower!), comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Super easy self check-in (numeric code sent in advance; we would not have to even meet the guy from the reception but we did anyway, as we needed his help to understand the operation of the stove; he gave us a physical key to make entering easier).
The cottage and location was beyond our expectations. It was very quite and a beautiful scenery. The hot tub is wonderful and perfect to see stars and Aurora. The cottage is clean and new and has everything you need. In the morning its nice to see the sunset during breakfast. The owners are nice and easy to communicate with.
We can definitely recommend the place and would come back next time.
