For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The folks who run the place are really responsive! Easy to call them and make changes to my itinerary. It was very central, had black out curtains for the nautical sunset, mini fridge, plates, cups, microwave, great internet. Perfect space for staying in Iceland on a budget who aren't staying in hostels.
We stayed here for one night before the Laugavegur trek and then for the night we came back. On both occasions we got exactly what we we looking for - a clean room and a hot shower. The hostel is very well organised, the staff is helpful and considerate. Facilities (shower, kitchen and so) are clean and practical. It is quiet. Within walking distance from central bus station BSI. I recommend with no hesitation!!!!
Really great place. Everything you could ask of a hostel in terms of attractive communal area, kitchen area and great breakfast on offer. Helpful staff and bus stops right outside. It is next to a great heated outdoor pool too. Room was fine. Good hot shower. Did the job nicely.
Beautiful surrounding. Sunrise and sunset in the ocean.
Apartment had a very nice bathroom. All amenities was included in the apartment.
Very nice and clean car included. We were offered airport shuttle. Easy access to busstop for local busses.
The sea view of the room was fantastic and you could stay in the room to watch the sunset. The room was spacious and clean. The Bus Stop No. 12 is right downstairs and it is convenient for pickup of most of the tours and airport transfer.
The location was good. The kitchen could be better equipment. Not enough contents.
