Friendly staff and fantastic breakfasts. I love the Karelian pies. The hotel is very central within easy reach of shops, eating places and metro, buses and the Central Station. I loved my stay at the Sunset Nest. I was traveling solo, and felt completely safe here. The room was very clean & comfy. The food was aaamazing! I would come back again & again for the pork curry & veg momos! And, the view, surreal! As the location is a bit down the hill, someone or the other was always accompanying me up & down the hill whenever I needed to go out. Amit bhaiyya even dropped & picked me up from the Mall road, arranged for a car for me whenever needed. Very friendly people. ☺️☺️
It was memorable stay at The Sunset Nest. Owner, Mr Amit and his family was very nice in hospitality and warmth. Made us feel at home in darjeeling. View was amazing and sunset was best to witness. Rooms were clean. Service was outstanding. Food was delightful. Travel, sightseeing was guided and facility was provided by Mr Amit. I would definitely recommend this homestay for visit to darjeeling anytime.
The family are so helpful and friendly, we felt very welcome here. Anything you need they are on hand to help with.
Also plenty of hot water for drinks and heated blankets!

The sunset nest was an excellent place to stay. So glad that we found it! Amit and his wife were wonderful hosts, from amazing home cooked meals and hospitality to Amit going out of his way to show us his town, organise a SIM card for us and generally look after us. We couldn’t have asked for a better homestay.
Sinclairs, Darjeeling offered a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga for the entire day. They have a dedicated balcony area to capture the beautiful sunrise and sunset.
We loved Everything about this Homestay ♥️ the room was very spacious, the bed was so comfortable with an added bonus of a heated blanket which was just what we needed as it was a little chilly up there, Absolutely amazing views of the Himalayas on the right 😍 an we watched the sunset on the left from the balcony. We have to put a big shout out to all the staff here….. you are all truly amazing and you all made our stay.. especially New Year’s Eve one we will remember forever and we will miss you all 💙
Very nice guesthouse of an extraordinary commited family. Spacious room with hot shower. Very nice garden with mountain view from the rooftop. Nice food from their own garden. Nice Christmas Party on 24th of december at the fireplace
