Our stay at Sandat was a truly memorable experience.
The buildings and setting were wonderful : among lush green forest and beautifully tended gardens.
It was so easy to get into Ubud with the free shuttle bus and such a pleasure to come back to the peace and quiet.
Our room was one of the “rice barns “
The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and loved having a lower sitting room with a view of the pool. Gorgeous furnishings again and the fresh flowers were a lovely touch.
The dining hall was amazing ; like a bamboo cathedral ! Dinner and drinks were excellent, as was the service at all times : the staff were super attentive, polite and courteous.
Loved all the linen sofas and chairs , lime washed candles ; and the tablescaping was to die for : beautiful crockery , napkins and cutlery. Afternoon tea served on pretty china with home made biscuits was a real treat.
A really special stay , made even more wonderful by the kind , friendly and considerate staff .

We stayed in a glamping villa with private pool it was lovely. There was a bit of dust and mould but difficult to keep that at bay given the damp conditions. The bed and pillows were dreamy.

Best views we have had in Asia. Fantastic place if you want to go camping but don’t have any of the gear! This was the comfiest mattress and duvet we have had during our whole trip! The staff here are so helpful. They kindly lit our fire for us in the evening, cooked dinner, made coffee and beautiful breakfast overlooking the most stunning views of Mt Batur. Toilets were impeccably clean - so much cleaner than some indoor places we have stayed! Lovely warm shower. Highly recommend as a break from hostels and hotels - absolutely great experience!

THE VIEW! Breathtakingly incredible, I couldn’t get enough that I went to the local Warung for takeaway food to take back and eat with the view from the table in front of my cabin.
The view from the cabin was also perfect!
THE FIRE AFTER SUNSET - This topped it off for me, it was a lovely touch and nice way to stay outside and keep warm.
The bed was very comfortable I slept very well and the sheets were lovely clean and soft.
A Kettle with Jasmine tea and sugar was provided which was a perfect touch and 2 bottles of water were in the cabin when I arrived and more were provided on my second day also.
The family who run the business are so lovely and their daughters were adorable!

Loved the tent, v well set up with great views.
Bed was comfy and having a kettle was nice. Food available to order was also delicious probs ly the best nasi goreng I had the whole trip made with rice from the terraces. Also best shower too!

Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Very good location away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Loved the peace and quiet of the location. At night, the noise of the surrounding rice fields and tropical wilderness comes alive, which is very calming and relaxing.

the place is wonderful, in the jungle with a beautiful view and a nice rest area where is very pleasant to chill, staff are so friendly, breakfast is really good and you can ask for iced coffee or tea all day for free ! the swimming pool is way smaller than on the picture but very nice. The 8 beds dorm is very cosy. hot shower and good wifi ! they also rent scooter which is very very good to explore the area.
This is heaven and Paradies! 😍 The perfect place to heal your body and your soul. Bumbum and his wife are the best hosts I ever met!! It's like family!! This place is not far from ubud but very quiet and you can see sunset while eating a perfekt meal!! 😍 They are angels!!
Breathtaking view, beautiful decor, crystal clear infinity pool, fun but steady hammock, delicious room service food and floating breakfast. It has a retractable projector upstairs. Staff are amazing and amenties are good quality.
