Location is amazing, private lake loved the wildlife and the animals on site, the sustainability and just every thing about acorn glade was warm inviting and relaxing
The view from the van was amazing, a pond full of wildlife, fish, turtle,, moorhens and a heron. The hot tub was wonderful. The hosts were like visiting friends, very friendly and informative. The location is central to great days out. We went to York and the coast.
Beautiful cottage on top of hill so opens beautiful views around it. Surrounded by wildlife and away from all city noises and rush. Cozy cottage with very comfortable bed, lovely lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Front garden has a deck where to sit down and soak in views. Located in local village where local shop, pub and cafe can be found. Host Pete was comunicating at all times.

Nice pool (10 m) that was deserted so I had it all to myself. Friendly staff. About a 20 minutes walk from York city centre. Good breakfast. Good powerful shower (once I'd figured out how it worked.)
Great location outside of the city centre.
Plenty free parking, smooth checkin and room clean and well appointed.
The room had everything we needed and lovely hot shower.
Bed was really comfy, great nights sleep.
Breakfast was plentiful and restocked regularly.
Two pubs within short walk and fish and chip shop same distance. There is a Chinese takeaway but cash only.
Bus stop at the pub and straight into city centre for £2 each.
we absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to book again. fantastic location within the most beautiful setting. loved waking up to the ducks every morning, watching the sunset on the patio and being surrounded with wildlife, yet having the city also on the doorstep. absolutely beautiful - just like the owners. so warm and welcoming! loved every minute in our new favourite home from home.
