The Yurts were clean and well equipped. They were thoroughly tested by a major storm - neither wind nor rain got inside. The location was idyllic - trees, fields and greenery in all directions. Malcolm was discreet, friendly and helpful. The location was also good from the getting to places point of view - a major supermarket is nearby and nowhere on the Island is more than 30 minutes away.
For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Beautiful and evocative location, featuring wonderful sunsets and views up the coast.
Accommodation was spacious and felt luxurious. Bed was very comfortable.
Gym was small but more than adequate.
Very welcoming staff, made us feel right at home. The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. We had room 2 and the view from the balcony was phenomenal! Although it was December we managed to see a lovely sunset and sun rise. Great views down towards the harbour and out to sea. Breakfast was outstanding! On street parking and also parking at the back of the hotel
The public areas of the hotel, the dining room, the veranda and gardens are all superb. We enjoyed our breakfasts (except for the poor quality coffee) and the waiting staff were very friendly and efficient. The food at dinner was good but let down by the lack of variety.
Daniel and Mel were amazing as a host … kind and accommodating. Apartment was beautiful and had all basic necessities. It was in great location. Loved watching sunset at ventnor beach which was right down the block. Had an amazing time. Totally recommend!!
Fantastic location, just stroll from town and plenty of light streaming in even if the weather wasn’t ideal. Will have to come back to enjoy the veranda next time with the sun out.
Every thing from the location, owner and staff where all amazing. The breakfast was the best I have had in a long time with the added surprise of an easter egg on easter Sunday morning. This is the difference when the owner has a real passion for what he does, nothing was any trouble at all. Off road parking great for motorcyclists. Take a walk down to the park at the end of the street then onto the coastal path great sunset if you head right or sun rise if you turn left.
We loved the garden, the verandas, the relaxed setting of the house, the way its Victorian character had been preserved so well AND the wonderful sound of the grand piano in the evenings! We also liked the self-service bar (with such a wide choice of aperitifs) arrangement in the lounge.
Such a beautiful location 😍 the veranda was stunning for the view , eating brekfast on the veranda was idyllic you almost lost yourself and could easy mistake it for the Mediterranean, it even had tiny lizards

Great location for the beach . Apartment is down a private road so nice and quiet, albeit March and not peak season. Great views of the beach and out to sea . Good Furniture provided to relax on verandah. Good facilities throughout. Easy access to beach . Either a steep walk into town via the road or use the steps behind the apartment
