Burtree House & Retreats Tipi with Secluded Hot tub, hotel in Thirsk

Featuring garden views, Burtree House & Retreats Tipi with Secluded Hot tub provides accommodation with balcony, around 29 km from York Railway station.

Staff were very thorough and couldn't have done enough for you. Accommodation was great, fitted to a high standard, even down to the small details. Private hot tub was a lovely addition and very clean! The site also holds lots of seasonal events which looked lovely, you could see the effort the staff had put into decor etc. to make for a successful event and positive experience for all. Great location too, not even 10 minute drive to thirsk town centre. We will definitely return!

Absolutely great, so clean and cosy. Great experience for the kiddos, met the owner who came out to greet us and show us around, he was so friendly. Would definitely stay again. Thoughtful wee treats in the tent, marshmallows a pumpkin to carve and such beautiful bedding and crockery. The owner has really beautiful taste x

Lovely space for a few nights. Had everything you'd need to rest up after a day's walk - Comfortable bed and hot showers! Kitchen stocked well enough to be able to cook in the evenings. Really appreciated the on site shop, especially that it had lots of vegan items. Unexpected and great to find! The location is exceptional, peaceful and right onto the moors!

Brilliant set up with rooms looking onwards to courtyard gave so much freedom to my daughter and the well-behaved dogs and farm animals + hammock all provided endless entertainment. Staff really were so lovely too. We were holidaying with another Mum and her daughter and this worked so wonderfully as we were next door and it meant we could eat together outside our rooms every evening. Lovely rustic charming place to stay completely away from it all. Views are exceptional.

Beautiful rural location for a quiet night away. Spacious room with comfortable bed, nice hot shower and a lovely welcome from Anne and George! Enjoyed the hot tub too! Sounds daft but I also really appreciated the large mugs for a cuppa in the room!

Beautiful lodge and very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable, plenty of storage space and views were exceptional, simply stunning!. Everything you might need was available in the lodge. Shower was lovely and powerful. Lots of windows made it light and airy and you have lovely sunset views. Jude was there to meet and greet us and was incredibly helpful. Easy access into Thirsk. I didn't want to leave but it was only available for 2 nights sadly.

The room was very clean and quiet, had free toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities to use. Staff was friendly although the place did look a bit deserted. Didn't book breakfast and nothing was mentioned about it at check-in, but in the morning it did smell good. OK for a one night stop over, but did lack atmosphere.
