For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Nice and warm, interesting as it was the old police station and Donna gave us a guided tour of the cells and told us of the history, really good location for pubs and restaurants. Comfy bed, nice hot shower and tasty breakfast.
There was no breakfast on offer, but we appreciated the tea and coffee in the bedroom. A decaff option needed to be requested.
Beds were warm and comfortable. Hot shower was fine. Heating was effective. Neighbourhood was quiet.
The pub is located alongside a canal, great to sit and have a drink in the large garden or walking the dog along the canal. The food we had was very good quality and the desert was to die for, The room was clean and tidy and plenty of parking close to the room. The hosts were fantastic and couldn't do enough for their guests, a really good atmosphere in the bar, talking to the locals and the dogs are allowed anywhere in the pub, would definitely return.
Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. They had Spanish type pub music pumped to the outside speakers so I couldve honestly been in Spain watching that beautiful sunset.
