Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Lauren has spoiled us in her caravan: we expected the view, but we also got plenty useful and charming attentions on top (milk and butter in the fridge, a whole assortment of spices, activities recommendations,…). We felt very welcome and at home! And the environment is just wonderful: smashing view and sunset.
This is a beautiful location on the Isle of Skye. The rooms are very quaint and cosy and the house is beautiful. The dinner was also excellent. The sunsets looking out of the hotel windows were stunning.
Everything was really lovely, the bed was comfortable and cozy, the bathroom is wide with a hot shower (I think the shower was the best part for us after a 4 day roadtrip jaja), there was some fresh milk in the fridge so we were able to have a coffee before leaving in the morning. The views!! The views were breathtaking, we got there just in time to see the sunset and it was honestly magical. The puppy and the ducks were a plus as well.
All in all, it was amazing ☺️
Very nice and spacious room, very well decorated, with cattle and wildlife themes. Everything was comfortable. Kettle and fridge available in the room. The self-service breakfast left at the door is a nice concept. Quiet and natural setting, with grass all around the house and outside tables where to enjoy the landscape and the sunset. Centrally located (to the isle), so exploring every corner was convenient, just 15m from Portree.
