The owners were delightful to deal with, so friendly, approachable and accommodating. The van was immaculate and so cosy with the fire going! This was such an adventure for our boys, they loved looking at the animals and running back and forth across the fields! The communal facilities were great, we didn’t have much need for them but we did have a wander around as we also have a tent, we would return in a heartbeat, this was such a great find and an absolute gem in a great location! The local pub did great food (recommend by Jack!) and very reasonably priced within walking distance. We will definitely be back!

Our favourite night away yet! Owners were warm and welcoming and the yurt was exceptionally equipped. The log burner was ready to go when we arrived and had spares beside it and even more in the shed behind us, even having an outside fire burner to sit and enjoy the scenery. The heated blankets under the bedding was a wonderful surprise, kept us toasty throughout our stay. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, definitely wanting to stay again
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Lovely peaceful location, easy walk into Pickering, accomodation very well though out, while being comfortable and cozy,
Very dog friendly site, full of wonderful wildlife.
Peaceful location. Very comfortable bed and lovely room. Hot shower. Delicious and very well cooked breakfast (loved the Aga eggs). Thank you Judith and Andrew for a delightful, calming and happy stay.
Location was in a rural setting but was only a short walk from the village. The train to Whitby was close by.
The house is situated near a beautiful stream, the potential to see various wildlife here is excellent.
The home cooked breakfast was fantastic and was a great start to the day.

Beautiful location and very peaceful. Staff were great and very welcoming. Directions to find property were easy to follow. Kids loved the hot tub and seeing the local wildlife (deers were their highlight). Will definitely stay again.
Great setting in small wooded area, right on the edge of the moors. Plenty of footpaths and circular options of different lengths straight from your doorstep. Lodge was warm and cosy, spotlessly clean and with well equipped kitchen. Veranda with two benches was brilliant for de-booting or in warmer weather, for sitting out. Full wheelchair access and two parking spaces, made loading and unloading very easy.
Incredible location. Enjoyed the dark skies ... the wonderful animals. And Rob was very accommodating and a great host. Hot tub was a great way to unwind after the wife and I had had a hectic and challenging few weeks. The safari tent is a good place to hang out. An enduring memory will. be watching a Tiger Moth from the local tiny airport do acrobatics In front of a stunning sunset whilst my wife enjoyed chatting away to an alpaca!
Charming, peaceful, excellent location. I knew that the site was rustic when I booked so it was exactly as I expected. The tents are spread well apart and thoughtfully set out, this provides privacy. Lovely place. Lovely owner. Thank you.
Super location central yet lovely and peaceful. Each set up is well spaced so you feel to have the place to yourself. Very close to the NYMR you can see the trains coming and going. Nice for spotting wildlife too and some very friendly hens.
