We stayed in the Shepard’s hut, the view was incredible and the hut was so cozy. There was hot water bottles electric blankets and throws if you got chilly and even a little radiator. It was perfect we both had a lovely stay. The pizza night on a Friday is a must we really enjoyed them. Llanidloes is about a 10 minute drive away so perfect if you need to get any bits or want to pop to a local pub or for some food. The Swedish bath was amazing and was amazing to look at the stars at night from.Thankyou for an amazing stay.

Ty Capel is beautiful and so much care has been put into restoring the cottage to convert into a B&B. I stayed in the Hafren room and room far exceeds other 5* hotel rooms I've stayed in. I would love to come back in the winter to take advantage of the log burner. The views of the mountains, the sunset and the lake from the window were amazing. The breakfast was brilliant and the lounge with the honesty bar is so cosy. Would 100% recommend to others. Jason and Teresa were very kind hosts.

The location is idyllic. It has extensive gardens with a variety of plants, trees & shrubs hosting a wide range of birdlife and other wildlife. Then there is the view down the valley and across the reservoir. Breakfasts were very good. Good food, plenty of it. The bed was extremely comfortable, giving us a very good night's rest. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

This place is absolutely perfect if you're after a quiet getaway. It's so peaceful. We stayed in one of the safari tents which was amazing, it has everything you need and is really comfortable and cosy. Loved looking out on the deck in the morning watching the world wake up. The river is also an added bonus as my children loved exploring the area. We would definitely recommend a visit and would love to return.

Gorgeous location, spotlessly clean, wonderful hosts, great breakfast, really comfy room with ensuite. Added bonus was the cozy lounge room with every type of beverage possible and badger-cam! Night vision cameras streaming wildlife on the telly in the lounge. Very original idea! Well done to the hosts for a great B&B😊 Great walking to hillsides and scenery.

The view from the room was fabulous and the amenities were spotlessly clean. The food was well presented and the quality of ingredients were very good. The hosts were very amenable and hospitable. The icing on the cake was the evening visit from the local wildlife. To see badgers and a fox in such close proximity was fantastic.
