A wonderful place to stay. Our room was downstairs very quiet and looked out into the trees. We ate dinner in the restaurant on the balcony watching the sunset, the food was exceptional and the staff very friendly and helpful Easy walk to the castle, or town centre

Nice hotel with some history, love the gin distillery. Very good with pets. Feels a bit dated but you have to take on board the history. Lovely sized rooms and bathrooms with lovely hot shower. Biscuits and plenty of coffee and tea available. Lovely breakfast and also I had a lovely evening meal at a good price. Ideally located.

Superb location on a working farm well in the quiet of the country, lovely small lake to walk around admiring the fish and wildlife with bats coming-out in the evenings. The property was excellent for us as we were out all day, did n o cooking after breakfast and simply wanted to relax after a reviving shower with a cold glass after a day's walking and exploring Devon and Cornwall.
