For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Free bottle of wine and milk on arrival. House was so lovely and cosy and despite no phone signal made up for it by great wifi for wifi calling. Beds were super comfy and powerful hot showers and wood burner were added bonus. Will def be returning and telling friends all about it. Also great location to visit local areas such as Chatsworth house etc and to walk in hills x
Location was amazing with 360 degree of green expanse. Self sufficient minimalistic utilities are readily available to use, ie cooking, heating, cleaning. There’s no reception at most part of Edale (even so in Sheep’s Bit) so it made disconnection inevitable. Animals were mostly friendly, waking up to the sounds of goats, birds, ducks and chickens brought back happy memories. There are just two tents on the site, so it’s quiet and peaceful most of the time. Host Jodie was also extremely kind.
The cottage was perfect. Location was excellent and view outstanding. The cottage was comfortable and had everything you need..comfy bed hot shower. Lovely hosts a perfect getaway.
