For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The peaceful surroundings. We were able to watch bats and listen to.owls and other wildlife. A perfect way to destress. The pod was basic but fine for our needs.
We loved the fact we could buy food, it’s nice to have to the option. The bell tents were great and the outside area was perfect, was camping but without the faff of having to pitch our own tent.
Beds were comfy, we all slept well!
Great location, lovely site, and some beautiful sunsets in this quiet corner of Suffolk. Steve and Carol are happy and helpful hosts, on hand if needed, and Clare is a charming village with just about everything you need. The pods are clean and cosy, and the ducks and geese wandering about made the trip.
This was a beautiful place with lovely surrounding lakes and just the right number of accommodation pods/tents. The hosts were really friendly and Carol cooked a very tasty English breakfast.
We will definitely be returning!
