For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
We didn't hear much from the guys running the tents, but James in the clubhouse was so lovely and helpful, he made our whole trip. The tents were clean and roomy enough, but a bit cold at night - could have used thicker duvets or blankets. Clubhouse had decent bathrooms but not a lot of privacy - more like group changerooms with a few curtains, so would not be ideal if busy.
staff were lovely. tents clean and comfortable. just had a noise issue with a neighbouring tent which was the only negative factor but no complaints about the location, or team there
We had a really great time! Tony was very accommodating and the facilities were excellent. Very comfy tents and beds, very clean facilities. Great location, only a few mins from Castletown and the Steam Railway station. Could not have been better.
