Luxury Yurt with Hot Tub - pre-heated for your arrival, hotel in Buxton

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Luxury Yurt with Hot Tub - pre-heated for your arrival is set in Buxton.

This is indeed a luxury yurt! It had everything we wanted and more. In particular, the bedding was super comfy! We stayed for 7 nights during late May and used the hot tub for 6 of those and the braai for 5. We used the internal fire for 1 night when it was cooler (following rainy weather) and the yurt was toasty. The compost toilet was very beneficial; and the shared bathroom was always clean and had availability (even during half term holidays). The site itself was beautiful and the camping community, including owners Gail and Amy, were lovely! Great value for a longer stay and would absolutely return.

Lovely setting amongst farmland and wilderness. Warm welcome by resident feline who accompanied me on a short tour of the area upon arrival. Well worth the walk up behind the barn for the view. Self-contained kitchen area paid dividends after long drive bearing in mind it’s a little bit of a drive out to local pub/restaurants. Very clean and comfortable kitchen/bedroom area. Room access procedure convenient and supported with message from owners. Thoughtful cosy interior design features, coasters, pictures etc.

It was a very enjoyable stay. The double aspect view over the crescent and park we’re delightful. Bed very comfortable and lovely hot shower. The highlight by far were the friendly and quirky staff. Even the General Manager was a History Graduate and gave us a fantastic history lesson on one of the oldest coaching inns in the country. Mind blown. Good cooked breakfast.

Fantastic location, we walked Mam Tor and visited Castleton in the morning and it was a close drive. Fantastic hosts, friendly and knowledgeable of the area, helped us pick our sunset location. Facilities in the room were fantastic, everything we needed, it was clean and cosy. We had a great nights sleep. The breakfast the following morning was amazing, plenty of choice.

Stunning location for those who enjoy wildlife, nature and peace and quiet. I loved sitting outside with a cup of tea or a glass of wine at the tables provided for taking in the sunrise and sunset, and walking on the ridge path behind Anroach farm, where the views are stunning.
