For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
The house was beautiful very clean and spacious plenty off games for kids swingball was a hit the View was stunning especially at sunset great location welcome treats for us and the kids was a lovely touch
Fantastic breakfast - fruit, cereals, yoghurts, coffee, juices, cooked...what a selection of everything! It was also delicious.
The room was really nice, as was the house in general, and everything was spotless.
Great location (with a car), it feels quite remote but is a short drive from many of the really nice walks and towns/villages along the coast. 15 min to Giants Causeway - go early and beat the crowds!
Martin was a really nice host, and gave us a great tip on sunset-viewing. Thanks for everything.
The property is a well thought out mix of old and new features. The owners have added a number of nice touches including a personalized welcome message, eggs and milk in the fridge, and helpful instructions on how to use appliances. As other reviewers have said, the view towards the ocean and Rathlin Island is stunning. Sunrises and sunsets are an added bonus. Altogether, the cottage is truly special.
Amazing location. We had beautiful sunset dips in the sea, and could nip back in 2 minutes. Lovely home, suited 2x families of 4 wonderfully and would sleep, as well as accommodate in the living room and dining room 9 well. Very comfy. Very well equipped. Caretaker even gave us extra kindling. Easily walkable to Ballycastle centre and harbour and easy drive to the sights. Probably one of the best stays i have had.
The layout of room was comfortable and a pleasure to be in. Loved the decor the photos didn't do it justice we were extremely happy with this room. There is a toaster kettle microwave & crockery just right for our 3 day stay. The only thing missing was clothes airer for putting damp towels onto after your shower and did mention to owner who said would add one to rooms contents. The owners made us feel very welcome Thanks Again to them
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Helped us find the best restaurant for what we were looking for and gave us advice for traveling around the town. Everything was very clean and very tasteful. Has a great view for scenery and wildlife. Has delicious breakfast and the entertainment room is great!
Welcome pack was lovely. The wee garden was great, I loved the views and the wildlife. The cottage was very very clean which was fantastic. The kids liked the comfy chairs.
Everything, comfortable, warm and clean. Fantastic underfloor heating and the wood burning stove. Enclosed back garden area was lovely and great for our dog Bruce. Well equipped kitchen - everything you could need and more. Fabulous bathrooms. Comfy bed - I slept really well.
Beautifully restored cottage - the hosts have done a fantastic job saving one of our old houses for the future.
Would love to come back in the summer! There might be even more wildlife!
