For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Excellent breakfast. Choices to suit everyone. The location was perfect. The bedroom was fine but, having stayed in the Parador de Corias prior to Baiona, it was a hard act to follow. Terrace overlooking the sea was lovely & the sunset was spectacular.
This is classified as a 1 star place but it exceeded my expectations. It had a comfortable bed, hot shower and is close to the harbour. There was even tea and coffee in the room. There was heating which I appreciated after the rainy day.
World class location , well worth a visit , and reasonable cost for what’s on offer . Excellent vista and totally different views night and day , exceptional western Sunsets . Impressive driveway sets the tone through the medieval gate tower . Very convenient to walk to the town .
Nice hotel, we had good view of the Atlantic coast. Stunning sunsets. Lots of choice at breakfast. I like that they provided individual tongs to use at the buffet. We ordered room service twice and both times the food was excellent.
I arrived about 90 minutes before the official check in time. I resembled a drowned rat. Saturated after a day's hiking the Camino. They allowed me to check in immediately. I was able to get a hot shower and avoid possibly becoming ill. It was much appreciated. The room although small was very comfortable. Tv, ensuite bathroom. Hairdryer and coffee/tea making facilities. After 7 day's on the Camino is felt very luxurious.
Good apartment on the Camino trail in a beautiful town. Had everything you'd need. We only had one night there but it would be perfect for a longer stay. Brekie on the veranda was lovely
The hotel is beautifully located in an old castle, and all the surrounding areas (including castle walls) are well maintained. There is plenty of parking on site, and the view from cafe terrace is amazing (and prices are reasonable). We were also lucky to see amazing sunset from the castle walls. While the swimming pool was closed during the season we visited, there were a few nice beaches within walking distance from the parador. Lastly, we enjoyed the breakfast offered by the hotel
it was well kept, clean and great facilities on site. In addition there were plenty of areas to hang out such as sofas in common areas.
location was convenient for exploring Baiona and it is built on a fortress that has a number of walking routes which is great if you like walking and watching the sunrise on sunset with unobstructed views
