For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
The place was very relaxed and beautiful, full of nature and with hammocks. Good breakfast and they offer very interesting activities. We were able to surf and we enjoyed it very much. I recommend taking the class in case you have never practiced it.
The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful with our needs as a family with a 8 month old baby. Food at the restaurant was good, and the restaurant is probably one of the best places in town for drinks at sunset and watching people kitesurf! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel provided us with a cot for our child although on the booking.com page, it says that they don't do that.
Location is very good if you want to surf in Encuentro beach. Also, being on the main street makes it very easy to catch public transportation (Guaguas, motochonchos, carritos publicos, they all pass in front of the structure door every 5 minutes): in this way, you can get to Sosua, Puerto Plata, Cabarete, Rio San Juan in a very straightforward way.
Staff is always nice, smiley and available at all time.
The room has the basic comfort (+ a very useful mosquito net, I was not bothered by mosquitos at all!)
The facilities were awesome..Everything I needed was there. The staff helped with any problems, which were none.Beautiful yard to have a BBQ, or have a beer.Everything was close and handy.Beautiful ocean front 30 seconds away.Nice bar and restaurant also 30 seconds away.Grocery store 10 minute walk.Nice cold air conditioning , nice hot showers.Very secure, and nightclubs 15 minute walk in beautiful Cabarete
Breakfast was good. Bed comfy. Pool was a good size. Location excellent. Staff always polite and happy. Plenty sun beds. Fridge delivered to room when requested
Amazing location, best for sunsets and to enjoy the cabaret beach! The swimming pool is great and clean, the staff always welcoming.
A great choice for a couple enjoying the kit surfing beach or family.
Loved thoughtful design and style, stuff being multilingual, helpful and friendly and we enjoyed exquisite gardener's work, every little green guy was in its place and cared for
Room is not big but nevertheless feels spacy enough and has everything necessary for short stay.
Very luckily located near Janet's supermarket and Velero restaurant where we could buy breakfast and had dinners with stunning sunset view. Thank you, El Magnifico ❤️
The location is amazing and the staff were very friendly. Nice place to relax and watch the sunset and sunrise... Also good options of breakfast and dinner.
Small cozy area. The room has everything you need, air conditioning, safe, dishes. Very nice sunset view from the veranda. You have to walk 20 minutes to the beach.
