For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
So unique! Hot shower. Hamac. They showed us a private acess to the River :-) Good breakfast.
You might want to bring ear plugs, the forest makes a lot of noise! It was ok this way for us.
The location is lovely, small wildlife trail behind property, woke up to a sloth, toucans etc, access via owners property to swim in Rio Celeste is a delight. Breakfast good too.
Where do I even start......... this place is perfect hidaway. Looking into the greenery from your super comfy bed or hammock, sipping coffee on the little terrace, listnening to the sounds of nature... The river running just behind the house was such nice surprise, with fresh clean water, surrounding nature and quiet privacy
There are many places to stay in Costa Rica, many of them beautiful but this one is really unique and I hope I will have a chance to stay there again.
great taste in the rooms decorations made the stay feel more luxurious, the location was amazing - surrounded by wildlife and the river a short walk away. The staff were really friendly and helpful, booking tours even at late notice (highly recommend chocolate tour and tubing). a wonderful family run business next to the beautiful Volcan Tenorio!
We had a wonderful stay here :) the room was exceptionally clean. It is in a great position for the national park and some nice restaurants close by. We were so lucky to see lots of wildlife in the beautiful garden, including a sloth!
Tree house close to a river, you could hear the water and see the vegetation. Balcony with hammock and awesome view. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
we felt so comfortable, surrounded by pure nature.
enjoyed the sunset and -rise in the hammock.
Authentic breakfast, nice chats with the owners who care about the environment.
and the best: the owner showed us an unknown spot at the river. Therefore, we had like a „private pool“ in the river.
The owners were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us. We loved the treehouses- they were comfortable and the property is beautiful. We saw toucans, a sloth and other various wildlife, which was a great bonus. The Rio Celeste is within walking distance. We also did a tubing tour and had a blast. We will definitely be back to this magical place.
