For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Very friendly owner who was super helpful. The rooms are basic but it has everything you need, is clean and has a hot shower. The pool is lovely in the heat of San Gil and there are nice lounge areas. The owner stored our bags for a few moments so we could have dinner before we went to the terminal which is at 1 minute distance
Amazing and helpful staff, sauna, Pool, comfy beds and chairs, good WiFi, great Tour Organisation, silent Air condition, hot showers, good price. So so lovely staff. Free coffee, great chill areas.
Excellent location in the centre of San Gil. The owners were extremely nice people and organised our activity while there and gave restaurant recommendations. The hostel has hammocks to chill out in and a well equipped kitchen too. Room was very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The price is great too, the best in San Gil for the service provided. Would recommend to anyone staying in San Gil.
Great hosts. Great breakfast. Great location...if you have a car as it is a bit outside of town. That said, being outside of town is one of its charms. Life doesn't get much better than burying yourself in one of the hammocks and uncoupling from the world.
- the hostel owner and the staff are SUPER helpful, they helped me with everything in San Gil and way more!! They are well informed, I never meet so helpful people in a hostel :)
- they gave a good overview of the activities you can do
- hammocks! :D
- highly recommended!
Everything! The staff and owner are super friendly and helpful. All activities you can book with them. Hostel provide lockers for your valuables. Nice common area with hammocks. Great location- 2 mins walk from main square. I cannot say anything bad. Probably best option to stay in San Gil.
We booked cos of the incredible reviews and weren’t disappointed. Felipe and Jane are amazing hosts, kind, funny and sociable. Felt like family, with plenty of room to socialise. The private room was huge, with a big bathroom and warm shower. Kitchen was well equipped but after tasting the home cooked meals you might not use it!
Located out of town with sunset views over San Gil. Great for hiking. You can walk and then bus to town, or Jane and Felipe will sort out economical transport if required. You can book tours at the hostel too.
Quiet, clean and comfy room with hot shower and cool fan. Lovely communal area with lounge and kitchen for guests use, with central open air patio garden. Best of all, very friendly and helpful hostess, who made us a delicious breakfast and gave us loads of tips. Also only a short walk to the main plaza, so altogether great value for money.
Staff, quiet place, and ample space for sitting and enjoying the views, enough Adventure choices, breakfast, hot showers, swimming pool, hammocks, and location.
