For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Big room with great air conditioning. Nice to have a separate shower and toilet! Smart TV with Netflix etc. Large clean pool in the sun all day with sun beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful, cleaning room and helping with anything needed for the shared kitchen. Would recommend!
Beach: hotel occupation was low so we could enjoy always having available beach seats and tents, the beach was almost empty and clean.
Pool: nice pools and ambience
Restaurants: nice variety of food, plenty of snacks, always good options of healthy choices (salads, fruits, juices with no sugar)
Although I didn’t stay for I enjoyed the fairly big chill out area with hammocks and beds,
But mainly the host is a very nice guy and he made sure I had everything I needed
What can I say?! Absolutely stunning building with so much character! The roof terrace was fabulous at night with great views of the city. The kitchen is handy and there is a pool, which I didn't use- but what a lovely feature.
The rooms were spacious and well equipped and well thought out for a traveller (I stayed in two different dormitories). Nice hot showers and stylish bathrooms.
The pizza restaurant downstairs is yummy and the breakfast is also fabulous!
Would highly recommend staying here!
The whole team and the owner Leandra are doing a wonderful 👏 job here. They give so much love to every detail and care a lot about their guests (lucky us 😁). Everything was very clean, beakfast was amazing and the beach is just a footstep away. Very nice rooftop area with hammocks. Furthermore, we could leave our luggage 🧳 at the hostel during our time at Islas del Rosario. We would come again!
This is a absolutely beautiful place in a colonial style. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed huge and one of the comfiest we’ve slept in. Massive bathroom with beautiful tiles and a hot shower too - quite unusual in Colombia. Great location to get around and just away from the most noisy areas. We spent a lovely sunset in the rooftop pool. The owner host is a friendly and enthusiastic individual. Can you tell we loved this place?
this place looks beautiful, the room and shared bathroom were clean, there’s a mosquito net over the bed. there are several houses and in each 2-3 rooms. each house has a terrace with hammocks, it is very nice if you want to chill on your own or with someone. there is common area with the bar, pool, everyone is there during the evening. 2x a week there is a hostel party. there’s a restaurant within the hostel, with fair prices.
you can walk to the opposite side of the island in 20-30mins, or to some of the beaches near.
The property is a 5-10 minute walk from the entrance to the walled city (centro) and has all the amenities you need. They have a lovely area to relax on all the floors (pool on the ground floor, hammocks on the first floor and rooftop to watch the sunset on the second floor).
The staff are lovely and it’s great to stay in a traditional house.
