For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Good quiet location, nice traditional buildings, awesome reading terrace to spend a lazy afternoon on a hammock with great views.
Lovely and helpful staff.
Everything! We were also the only guests staying there. It was tranquil, outside of the main tourist area but good for walking, had everything we needed eg a kitchen, hammock, hot water etc. We were also able to check out late in the afternoon and use the facilities until we departed.
Beautiful yet rustic hotel in the centre of Barichara, 2 blocks away from the mirador for sunsets. The grounds are full of plants flowers and birds. The staff is especially Nice and breakfast excellent. Highly recommend if you are not looking for modernity. Yet totally functional
Very nice garden with plenty of space to relax and a great view from the terrace. When I was there they fixed the hot water system so on my last night I could take a hot shower.
I loved my stay so much, I returned two times after. The rooms (I stayed in 2 different domes and 1 hut) are clean and spacious. Hot showers! The views are amazing. The staff will make you feel super welcome and are very helpfull. It is a bit away from Barichara, but therefore really calm and with great views off the city. Easy transport by tuktuk. The food at Serrania is nice as well!
Located on the outskirts of Barichara (my recommendation: take a tuk tuk!)
Good WiFi and very nice welcome by the host. The site has a lovely jungle like park with some trails and animals to watch Like iguanas, porcupines and birds (you only sleep with nature sounds:-)), also some hammocks to relax in.
I extended my stay and would definitely come back again! Highly recommended!
