For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
The service was incredible, the host was willing to help in any way, giving us advice for the park and making us feel at home. Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious as well. The tents were warm and cozy, and the location is perfect! Easy access to the park and beautiful views to wake up to.
Fantastic location for exploring the park. The views from the property were superb both from inside and from the veranda. The owner lives on site and was very responsive to any requests. The Wi-Fi was great which was an unexpected bonus. Thoroughly recommended.
Decent breakfast however a bit limited, ie not boiled eggs, often no regular yogurt. Dinner (buffet) has excellent deserts but otherwise nothing special.
From seeing the pictures and reviews of the place I expected it to be much simpler, so I was surprised how welcoming and cozy it was! Everything was very clean, I chatted to some very nice people, the lady from the reception was just lovely and very helpful. Good hot showers and warm blankets. For food they only had pizza but it was delicious, good big breakfast the next morning. And the view of the 3 towers is just amazing! It cleared up so I got a sunset and sunrise view of them.
The Estancia is special. It gives you an impression how life is at such remote places. The scenery is great, almost all food is homemade, we especially enjoyed the horse riding (not having any previous experience with horses) in such a vast deserted landscape. And Chris, the receptionist, is very happy to help with all kinds of issues and questions. Our stay at the Estancia was definitely a wonderful experience.
First of all: the location is amazing. right outside of the Nationalpark at a lake with a great Mountain View.
The room we stayed in was small but very nice and had everything you need including heaters and a hot shower.
The food we got for dinner and breakfast was delicious although I would prefer a little bit more vegetables.
