By far, one of the best hostels, where we stayed. Location is super central, close by to Puerto Varas downtown, with a huge supermarket just around the corner. Staff is super friendly, providing already prepared and structured information on what to do in and around Puerto Varas. Shared bathrooms were always spotless. Communal kitchen is fully equipped. Also possible that more people cook in parallel. Huge garden attached to the hostel with hammocks and seatings where one could enjoy the sunny autumn days.

When you enter the cabanas, you will be amazed by the view from the huge window, it is exactly in lake side, only few steps from the water. Amazing sunset! There is also a little terrace, you can have your own bbq if you want. Bed is comfy, wifi worked well. Kitchen is small, but well-equipped. Free parking place for your car. Private beach.

The location is good - it’s a short walk into Puerto Varas main town but we didn’t mind the walk. There was ample free parking for our rental car and being out of town means you can get onto the main roads easily. The room was clean and big with a good hot shower. The bed was comfy; we slept really well here. We also had a great view of the Osorno volcano. Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly, helpful and tolerant to our rubbish Spanish!

Location was stunning and a photographer's dream to get fabulous sunrise and sunset through the bedroom window. Staff were very helpful, but it was a surprise to discover how few people in this area (not just the hotel) speak English - I would jhave been better prepared if I'd known, but Google Translate proved absolutely essential in the whole region.

The stuff/owners are super friendly, the place is a classic Chilean wooden house, and it's huge. Great views of the volcano at sunset from living room.

If you like charming old places this is perfect for you. Every room has its own fireplace, fresh flowers in the bathrooms, the garden has two hammocks, two friendly cat neighbors, an espresso machine in the kitchen (free coffee and tea), fresh cake in the kitchen and the most helpful staff you could imagine.

Breakfast was nice. Best asset is the very nice balcony to watch the sunset over the lake. Good location to visit places without being in traffic.
