For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Lovely hotel with very friendly helpful staff, handy to nearby ATM and easy to get taxis into town. Lovely grounds, great pool, comfy beds, fab breakfast, great place to start a safari from.
Staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Loved the variety of home cooked food and the chef telling us what we were eating every evening. Tents were cleaned every day. Day trips were conducted by professional guides. Loved the hot water showers and hot water bottles in bed every evening. An unforgettable experience.
We stayed only one night in the Hotel (arriving from a safari) and for this purpose the Hotel was an ideal place to stay.
Clean, beautiful and quiet rooms, overlooking the (now dry) riverbed. In the immediate vicinity of the Hotel is a pleasant restaurant (the breakfast is also served there), - so in th evening we did not have to go anywhere...
Helpful staff who assisted with booking a game drive to Moremi reserve at short notice. They also prepared a picnic lunch for this activity.
Good shuttle service from and to the airport. The shuttle coordinated with both international flights and flights to the Safari camps operating from the airport.
The location was convenient and the outlook pleasant. Lovely bar and pool area in the gardens, and indoor/outdoor dining.
A very convenient staging point for trips to the Okavango Safari camps
All the staff were helpful friendly and gave exceptional service. The location and view over the River were delightful. The chalets ,set amongst the trees and access to the pool made our stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful in planning our activites , particularly the 3 night safari camping trip and the staff on the trip William and Neo went well above and beyond our expectations. Williams guiding and Neos cooking skills made our stay at Moremi unforgettable.
One of my favourite hotels in a quiet corner of Maun but not far from the center. Comfy beds, hot shower, safe parking, fridge, nice veranda with garden views, small pool, excellent breakfast, and all that for a very fair price. Forgot to mention the great staff, very helpful nice people. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
We spent a night at the Waterfront after being on safari - and it was absolutely perfect! The room was extremely spacious and clean and quiet, with a lovely verandah with a beautiful view over the river - exactly what we needed after the dusty dirty days of camping! The hosts gave us a packed breakfast because we left early, and it was really appreciated and delicious.
