The pousada is magnificent..a magical setting with a beautiful beach and well kep swimming pool.. staff are well trained and friendly...strong consistent wifi..hot showers with good water pressure...excellent food and more than acceptable breakfast..
Butterfly House has a fantastic location on the Marau Peninsula, immediately adjacent to a beautiful beach, deserted when we were there.We watched Humpback whales just offshore during their annual migration in September. The accommodation comprises individual bungalows spread through the lovely gardens. The staff are lovely, but as in most of Brazil, English is not spoken. Altogether a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Did I mention the whales?
Amazing location, right in front of the beach that stretches for 40km with only 1 other hotel to share it with. Feels extremely remote and exclusive. The bungalows are lovely are feel very private and romantic. We enjoyed sitting in the hammock by our private pool. When the sun is out, the main pool area is lovely with 2 person hammocks and a very relaxed feel.
