Fabulous service from Kylie and David and rest of the staff. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was fabulous. Especially the bread and butter pudding desert😉
We found this to be ideal for spending a day jut soaking in the atmosphere of Richmond. Hotel ladies were really helpful - ate at the Hotel and the food was great (roast of the day yummy) - the old stables converted into rooms is a great idea. Lots of heating and a nice hot shower. Best thing was to leave the car parked for the day and wander up and down Richmond. Oh, and the bed was super comfy.
We booked Aquila glamping on a whim, our last night in tassie before flying home the next morning. It was stunning. Everything is so well thought out. We had sheep come right up to our doorstep, munching on anything they could on the property. Such a great spot. The sunset really topped off our Tasmanian trip. I would love to stay here again, for longer next time.
Everything about the house was incredible. The grounds are perfectly manicured and maintained, with hammocks and outdoor games. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and full of character. The included breakfast (barista coffee, orange juice, muesli with seasonal fruits as well as eggs on toast with fresh avocado and tomatoes) was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are welcoming and friendly and attend to every request.
