For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The Resort consists of cabins spoaced throughout the resort. We stayed ina "Slab Hut" type stand alone cabin. Very comfortable. Good kitchenette. TV and Wifi. Verandah. This is a great place to stay. Managers Ron and Wendy Wilson so helpful and friendly. There is a swimming pool and hot spa. The place is almost opposite the Qantas Founders Museum, an easy walk to the Austrlian Stockman's Hall of Fame and also an easy walk into town
From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. Our one bedroom cabin faced the highway and the Qantas museum but was still very quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah in the sun every afternoon and just relaxing. My husband loved the outdoor baths...he spent a good hour there every day. I'd definitely come back here and stay longer next time! We loved being able to walk straight across the road to the Qantas museum and up the road to the Stockmans Hall of Fame. We hardly used our car in three days!
Everything was perfect. The welcome note, the ease of checking in. Tanya was so friendly. The whole experience was such a lovely way to relax and unwind . The view from the bath was amazing, especially at sunset. Breakfast was lovely and delivered to your door. Oh and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I highly recommend this place if you want peace and quiet with all the trimmings.
Thanks for a perfect 3 days ❤️
Very well equipped tents! Modern and very comfortable facilities! Kitchenette and outdoor BBQ a bonus for sunset dining! Fire pit for toasting marshmallows a lovey touch
The property is very well located minutes from Longreach. Tanya and David were welcoming on arrival and the Safari Tents were beautifully appointed and very comfortable.
We loved the sunsets, the visiting wildlife. The staff were available but non-intrusive and always smiling. We loved the fact that there were no screens. A total unplug. The resident green frogs kept us amused with their resilience to get inside. We must have been lucky because we didn't have flies or mozzies. Just lots of Emus and Galahs and silence.
Loved the building with the wide verandah where we watched the sunset.
The room was fairly basic but comfortable and clean.
The outdoor kitchen was great except for the huge puddle on the floor between the sink and the centre bench
With the exception of the kitchen not having a microwave, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. There was a brilliant sunset visible from the cabin's veranda. Bedroom nicely made-up.
Beautifully presented glam tents and magical sunsets
