Belinda thought of everything. There were treats, ample breakfast supplies, a beautifully appointed room and a lovely verandah on which to sit out and watch the sunset. Also provided was an excellent compendium of all the town had to offer. I highly recommend Hideaway on Hume for a visit to the lovely town of Boonah.
From the attention to detail, the scenery and the quality of the tent. Everything was perfect and we had the best stay. The peace of this place it’s something we won’t forget and also the wildlife (walllabies, chickens, hares…). Alex and Anna were so welcoming and helpful as well we can’t recommend enough this place!
Location and view was lovely. Beautiful panormic views from south/east verandah. You can walk into town in 10/15 mins. The chickens added that wonderful touch of being in the country.
This is not the first time I've stayed at this property and I will keep returning. It is a beautiful home, stylish and cosy with every possible comfort. The view from the verandah is amazing and even though it's only a 2 min drive to the centre of town, it feels tucked away for some splendid isolation.
The hostess was so helpful & generously offered we could use flowers from her garden for our event if we wanted to. Loved the verandah with stunning views. The fireplace. The excellent kitchen with my favourite aldi coffee pod machine. Feeding the chickens. All the extra vintage decor including outside items that enhanced the old dairy shed.
It had everything you needed to be comfortable with lots of extras like make up removal towels, extra crockery and choices for tea and coffee. We had a lovely verandah area and the garden was lovely. we will be back and highly recommend this home.
