Elvas the Queen Residence is set in Elvas, within 20 km of Badajoz Fortress and 200 metres of Municipal Library of Elvas. My host Richard was fabulous. He took the time to show me where to park my car in the complex old city streets, actually accompanying me and then walking me back to his immaculate place. He was charming, knowledgeable and made the whole stay perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough, and at the price, the best lodging experience in my entire travel in Portugal.

Located in Zambujeira do Mar, 300 metres from Zambujeira do Mar Beach, Hostel Nature features views of the city. Super lovely host - keen to chat about Portuguese history and proud of his town. Clean, comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms. Kitchen small but well equipped. We were able to use the washing machine and dryer which was amazing.

El Valeriana Exclusive GuestHouse està situat a Évora i té bar, saló compartit i allotjaments amb pati o balcó, WiFi gratuïta i TV de pantalla plana. Lovely guest house is central location. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were very kind and although we read previous reviews about trouble with the car park we found the instructions clear and helpful.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the refurbished ZOETIC sustainable rooms is situated in Évora, a 10-minute walk from Evora Cathedral and Roman Temple. Everything. Not only the house is gorgeous, the room was cozy and comfortable and the entire house was extremely clean (which is something I value a lot). Although the bathroom is shared, it is still of individual use, so to be honest it felt like it was a bathroom just to myself (and there are other 2 full bathrooms in the house), and it was always clean and had a wonderful smell. Susana, the owner, was there everyday making sure everything was perfect for our stay. Before I got there, I had to message her about some issues and she promptly answered me and solved my problem. And to make it even better, it is walking distance to a supermarket, a gas and car charging station and of course, to the historic center. I would give this place a 10/10 in everything and would definitely stay there again.

Quinta do Vau is located in Mértola by the Guadiana Rivar and offers panoramic views of the scenic town and the Guadiana River. Location in a great place. New buildings and furniture.

Offering free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV in each private room, Alojamentos Vitinho - Vila Nova Milfontes is located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 800 metres from the centre. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Love the room just wish we had more chance to use the patio (couldn’t this time because of the weather). Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.
