I have no words for this hotel apart from “Perfect” and this isn’t exaggeration. The amazing view, the cleanliness, and the friendly staff, the great breakfast with the amazing Mateora View right in front of you and forgetting the car park. It’s a great family run hotel.

Built with stone and wood, in the village of Kastraki, Guesthouse Vavitsas offers elegantly decorated rooms with views of Meteora Rocks and their famous monasteries. Staying there puts you in a meditative state even if you're not looking for that. You'll find your peace. While I enjoyed my stay then I must mention it's probably not very suitable for unfit people (so many stairs and light climbing to get to the beach) and people with small children who can't swim. The sea gets deep very fast. Most suitable for younger childless crowd.

Hotel Kosta Famissi is situated in Kalambaka’s entrance, only 1 km from Meteora and the monasteries. It offers classic rooms, most with stunning views of the rocks. The room with a perfect view of the mountains and monasteries right from the balcony is the best accomodation I ever had. And of course the breakfast was a festival every morning. The personnel at the reception were super nice and helpful. Best traveling experience you can have

The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the checkin they give you information about Meteora and the best views around there. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of local and tasty products. Rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The view was incredible, as shown in the pictures. We will definitely come back.

Situated in the old town of Kalampaka, Alsos House provides a relaxed and friendly base with breathtaking views of Meteora, steps from the local hiking trail. The place was very roomy for 5 of us. We slept comfortably in our own bed. The girls shared a double as did my wife and I and our son had his own bed. The shower was like the ones we have back home the water doesn't go all over the floor of the whole bathroom we really liked. The location was perfect for us to visit the monestaries and also walking distance to the centre for dinner.

Set in one of the highest points of Kastraki village with fantastic views of the Pindos Mountains, Pyrgos Adrachti offers spacious rooms with large windows at the base of the Meteora. The location is fantastic. You are right in the middle of the majestic Meteora rocks, only 10 minutes away from the monasteries. Such a peaceful location with a beautiful garden full of flowers surrounded by these amazing nature pillars. Very friendly and helpful staff who explain briefly where/ when to go and give tips on local tavernas etc. Our family room was outstanding too - in a separate newer building - nicely decorated with good amenities and comfortable beds. And a terrace overlooking the beautiful nature. Breakfast is simple but good with local products.
