Very friendly owner that directed to delicious evening restaurants and gave us wonderful directions to reach a shortcut path downtown. We felt very safe and welcomed. The house and its location are without comparison. Richard, the owner, answered all of our many questions quickly and gave us a ride to the ferry landing to recover our car. It is the jewel of Tobermory.

Dot never stops, she's always cleaning and making sure everything is spotless, nothing is too much trouble for her. I had a fantastic stay and I can't wait for my next visit!

Situated on the Isle of Iona, 500 metres from the Iona Ferry Terminal, Ardoran House boasts a sun terrace and a private beach area. Iona Abbey is 1.3 km from the property. The stay was well over our expectations, which were by no means low. Extraordinary good service and comfort, among many nice surprises a welcome glass of wine and without me saying anything, the owner understood that an avocado sandwich would be my dream breakfast. I am a vegan and there were plenty to choose from. The rooms are large, quiet, good beds with a tasteful interior like the rest of the house. It is nice to hang around the house in the lounge or the conservatory.
