This place isn't just an accommodation. It is a real home and an oasis. The guest house was renovated with good taste and smart choices. The owner is a very kind and warm person, you basically are welcomed into her countryside home. There is ample parking space in front, and a little area with 2 benches and a squirrel statue. Location wise, it is well situated on a small road, one turn from the main street. On this, you can actually go around the whole island. Upon check-in, you get a massive book with all kinds of tips for the island: where to eat, what to do, etc. Breakfast is a big, filling English breakfast. This can be customised to you individual needs: allergies, dietary restrictions, etc. The best part is that the water pressure is killer! Perfect after a day of hiking! The rooms are all named after local attractions and are marvelously decorated. Upon booking, you also receive a very detailed message on how to get to the island (ferry terminals). Rooms are decorated by local island inspirations. The bed was huge and comfy. Water pressure in the bathroom (both shower and bath) was very strong and ample warm water.

Butt Lodge is a family run Guest House set in Lochranza. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Lochranza ferry terminal is 2 km away and Brodick ferry terminal is 23 km away. The bed itself was so comfortable - the best place I stayed my whole trip - you could sink into it and really wrap yourself up under the heavy comforter, perfect for the frequently cool and rainy days in Lochranza! The roof is slanting and the bathroom skylight highlighted the pattering of rain throughout the night! The dinner menu was advised a week before and I made a selection for salmon which was cooked perfectly. Pretty much nothing is open at 7p in Lochranza, so it's easier to have dinner at the Lodge. Brodick has some options if you want to drive half an hour. The location is very tranquil and the water pressure and temp were great. The provided soaps were very nice scents as well. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was also available which was tasty & filling.

We had a sea view room which was lovely and we could just have sat at the window all day looking at the view! The staff were so friendly and were also very helpful with information about the local area. The menu choices catered for all and the food was of an excellent standard and well cooked. The lounge area near the bar was so relaxing and comfortable and again had beautiful views.

Ormidale Hotel ligger på den pittoreska ön Arran i Firth of Clyde, på en 3 hektar stor egendom. Här erbjuds gratis parkering, gratis Wi-Fi, en livlig pub med en rymlig ölträdgård och en lekplats. Fantastisk vistelse. Fint dekorerat rum med bra värme för regniga dagar. Jättefin frukost och goda måltider i puben kvällstid. Här fanns också en genuin lokal stämning med improviserad folkmusik på kvällen vi kom som gjorde hela stället hemtrevligt. Musikquiss andra kvällar. Personalen var så trevlig och hjälpsam. Hotellet låg lummigt och grönt med en kort promenad från centrum och hamn. Rekommenderas verkligen! Bra bilparkering också och lätt att nå sevärdheter runt ön.

The Mail Barn Studio ligger i Lamlash, 10 km från Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park, 24 km från Machrie Moor Standing Stones och 24 km från King's Cave. The comfort , particularly the bed and the location. All the amenities were perfect.Loved the T.V and channel choice.
