Stranraer
Dette familiedrevne gjestgiveriet ligger ideelt langs sjøkanten i Stranraer, kun en 5-minutters spasertur fra sentrum og jernbanestasjonen, og med utsikt over Loch Ryan. It’s a spacious, quiet place to stay. Sadly we were only spending the night before catching our ferry but it does look like a great place to spend a long day just chilling. Breakfast was superb!

Offering quiet street views, Seamore House is an accommodation set in Moffat, 33 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club and 36 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club. Was not expecting a cooked breakfast as well as the cereals etc. Property was easy to find, parking a breeze and a close to town with lots of restaurants etc. The Farmers Market was on but didn't start until 10.30am - too late when you are travelling
Gretna
Set in Gretna, the recently renovated Kirkcroft Guest House offers accommodation 42 km from Thirlwall Castle and 17 km from Carlisle Railway Station. Christine and Tony made us feel so welcome, they were very friendly. Delicious home cooked breakfast, comfy beds and spacious room with tea coffee biscuits etc.
Moffat
A recently renovated holiday home situated in Moffat, Cosy country cottage in rural location features a garden. We’ve stayed here before and it is always exceptionally clean, tidy and homely. Very safe for the dogs and the fire is always ready to be lit which is a lovely touch! Highly recommended.
Stranraer
Featuring heated pool, 47 Lochview is set on the beachfront in Stranraer. This campground offers a terrace as well as a bar. Nice and clean place.Kids enjoyed a lot
