Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, Le Mas Justin is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Gordes, 25 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon. Mas Julien is an absolute find! We stayed for 2 nights in Chambre 2 - the room was much larger than we'd expected, really well designed and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and the hosts really helpful and friendly. Wished we'd discovered this earlier - but definitely hope to be able to return again soon.

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, Le Mas de Caroline is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Gargas, 39 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon. It was only an overnighter, but the clean, cozy and well-lit room had everything we needed. Coffee maker, capsules, electric kettle, tea bags, bottled water (natural and carbonated). It was also great that we could keep our cheese purchases in the refrigerator upstairs. It was also possible to prepare meals in the kitchen. The location is quiet so a good night's sleep was had by both of us (plus dog!). Note: there is internet and it worked for both our devices. Also, if you are traveling with a lot of luggage, the space may be too small for some.

Benjamin is the best host ever. He was always available and he also gave us great advice about local festivities :) The house is great, very big and clean, and the terrace is simply wonderful. Honestly, we didn’t get the chance to try the SPA, but I’m sure it was great.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Chambres d'Hôtes Le relais des marmottes provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Stephane the owner is the most excellent host! Preparing the breakfast himself every morning, litteraly cooking the cookies and the jams! He always makes you feel at home! The room is spacious and comfortable and the house full of charme.

50 km from The Ochre Trail, Le Sens des Merveilles is a recently renovated property situated in Mane and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Everything is new and well made. One of my best stays during this trip!
