Lovely small place in the middle of the historic centre of this beautiful town. The breakfast was very nice with fresh bread and croissants. The hostess ever so friendly and helpful with good advise before our camino-treck starting the next day.

Hôtel Le 15 Périgueux is offering accommodation in Coulounieix-Chamiers. Featuring a garden, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Private parking free of charge. Overall, a perfectly fine stop for a night. The room was clean. It was a bit basic, but priced very reasonably. Our cats were welcome. The heat worked well, a bit too well and the room was quiet.

Hotel Santiago is located in Hendaye, just 3 km from the beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant which is open for dinner. Free WiFi access is available. Our room was well prepared, and comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities and large flatscreen. Excellent restaurant patronised by locals as well as guests with personal service from the owner and his small team. Literally a 10 min walk to station made it the perfect venue for our overnight in Hendaye. Would highly recommend.

Set 400 metres from the sea front and the beach La Grande Plage in Biarritz, Au Bon Coin offers a bar, lift, terrace and free WiFi throughout. Excellent, spacious and very clean room. What I like about it is that the room has 2 bathrooms, perfect for 3 people and/or a family of 4. Love the location as well. The host/manager of the hotel was accommodating, gave informative suggestions about Biarritz and helpful with our request. Overall, we had an amazing stay. 😍

Located just 150 metres from the medieval centre of Sarlat and housed in a beautiful building, the Hotel Montaigne offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Room was fabulous and location was amazing!

Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. Fantastic hotel. Rooms spacious and comfortable. We had a family room in the Chateau. Two pools! Beautiful location.
